Loaf occasionally large in volume
Variations in the weather and variations in the measurement of ingredients are normally the cause of occasional loaf size variation. The use of fresh yeast will also increase loaf size. After a new sachet of yeast is opened, the use of fresher yeast may cause the loaf to then hit the lid. Reduce the yeast back by ¼ teaspoon, or to previous levels.
