Pancakes

Make these pancakes with Laucke CWA Scone Mix, they are easy to prepare and are absolutely scrumptious.

500 g CWA Scone Mix 1 packet
650 g Milk or Water 2⅗ cups
2 each Eggs 2 each
10 ml Vanilla Essence 2 tsp

Method

  1. Place the Scone Mix, eggs, milk or water and vanilla essence, into a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.

  2. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

  3. Lightly oil a preheated frying pan.

  4. Pour a portion of the batter into the pan and allow it to spread evenly.

  5. Lightly fry pancake until base is golden brown, then turn over and complete.

Helpful Hints

  • Use the same mixture for pikelets by dropping a tablespoon of mixture into a lightly oiled pan
  • Serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit or your own favourite toppings
