Chocolate Chip Cookies

130 g Brown Sugar ½ cup
130 g Caster Sugar ½ cup
170 g Cake Margarine ¾ cup
5 g Baking Powder 1 tsp
5 g Salt 1¾ tsp
85 g Egg 1 x 85 g
255 g Laucke Wallaby Flour 1⅝ cups
200 g Chocolate Chips 1⅛ cups
70 g Chopped Nuts ½ cup

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.

  2. Mix the sugars, margarine, baking powder, salt and eggs in a mixing bowl until creamy.

  3. Stir in the flour, mix until smooth and clear.

  4. Add the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, and mix evenly to disperse throughout the mix (do not overmix).

  5. Place about 5 cm apart onto prepared baking trays.

  6. Baking time 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Immediately remove from baking trays.

  8. Yield approximately 50 at 20 grams each.
