Chocolate Truffles

340 g Cake Crumbs 2⅘ cups
150 g Jam 1 cup
180 g Chocolate, melted ⅗ cups

Method

  1. Mix the cake crumbs and jam together to form a paste, then add the melted chocolate and mix to a smooth dough.

  2. Divide into four equal pieces.

  3. Take ¼ and add the zest of one orange.

  4. Take ¼ and add ¼ cup of peanut butter.

  5. Take ¼ and add ½ cup of chopped dates.

  6. Take ¼ and add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee.

  7. To finish, roll each variety into small balls approx 20 grams each.

  8. Then roll each ball in melted chocolate and cover with any of the following mediums:

    a) Coconut

    b) Crushed Cornflakes

    c) Crushed Peanuts

    d) Chocolate Sprinkles

  9. Yield approximately 30 at 20 grams each.
