Chocolate Wheaties

90 g Butter 6¼ tbsp
115 g Brown Sugar ½ cup
55 g Egg 1 x 55 g
25 g Coconut ⅓ cup
15 g Wheat Germ 2 tbsp
120 g Laucke Wholemeal Flour ¾ cup
80 g Laucke Wallaby Flour ½ cup
8 g Baking Powder 1¾ tsp

Method

  1.  Preheat oven to 190°C.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add egg and beat well.

  4. Stir in the coconut and wheat germ, then fold in the flours.

  5. Roll teaspoonful’s into balls and place on prepared baking trays.

  6. Flatten slightly with a fork.

  7. Baking time 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. When cool dip half of each biscuit into chocolate.
