Gluten Free Scones

500 g | Laucke Easy Bakers Gluten Free Special White | 1 packet |
350 g | Water 30°C | 1⅖ cups |
30 g | Caster Sugar | 2 tbsp |
30 g | Melted Butter | 2 tbsp |
3 g | Glycerine | ½ tsp |
10 g | Milk Powder | 1¼ tbsp |
Method
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Weigh wet ingredients and place into mixer.
Weigh all dry ingredients, and place on top of wet ingredients in the bowl.
Mix for 1 minute at low speed, then 2 minutes on medium speed.
Pipe, or scoop and drop, 60 g of batter into a greased Patty Pan.
Rest for 20 minutes. Egg wash before baking.
Bake for 18 minutes at 190°C.
Helpful Hints
- Do not allow mixed batter to sit for more than 5 minutes.
