Sweet Crusty Pastry

Use Laucke CWA Scone Mix to make the perfect short crust pastry - it has never been easier!

500 g CWA Scone Mix 1 packet
120 g Water ⅜ cup
2 each Eggs 2 each

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.

  2. Place the Scone Mix, eggs, and water into a mixing bowl, and mix with a dough hook on low speed until a smooth firm pastry is formed.

  3. Rest on a floured bench for 10 minutes.

  4. Dust and roll out the pastry to 4 - 5 mm.

  5. Grease a pie tin, and line it with the pastry.

  6. Fill with your favourite pie filling, and place another piece of pastry on the top.

  7. Bake at 190°C until golden brown.
